The Flourishing Journal | September 2026

As late-summer light starts to shorten and routines begin to reset, this month's journal turns toward a different kind of practice. Making space for less, rather than doing more. Sometimes the most resilient thing we can offer ourselves is a pause.

What Silence Asks of Us

Silence isn't a container you have to fill correctly. It doesn't ask for a clear mind or a calm body to count. Some days it means letting your thoughts run free until the noise wears itself out. Other days it means sitting in the discomfort long after your mind starts begging for a distraction.

In our newest blog post, we explore what silence actually offers when we stop treating it like a test to pass, and start treating it like an invitation to show up as we are.

Rising Resilient Comes to Gainesville, FL

Some journeys are easier to walk alongside others.

Starting September 9th, we're bringing Rising Resilient, our hallmark 6-week integrative health and wellness program, into an in-person group experience at Trinity United Methodist Church in Gainesville, FL. Over 7 weeks, meeting at 6:30 PM through October, we'll move through the same trauma-informed curriculum that grounds our online program: somatic practices, CBT tools, journaling, and guided meditation, held together in shared space.

A room full of people learning to regulate, reflect, and reconnect side by side can offer something a workbook alone rarely can.

Space is limited, and the cost of the online materials is $21 for the full 7-week series.

A Moment to Practice: Naming the Noise

Before you close this email, try this.

Take one slow breath. Notice a single sound you can hear right now. Just notice it, without judging it.

Then ask yourself: what has felt loud in my mind this week?

Naming what's loud is often the first step toward finding what's quiet underneath.

(We'll rotate this space each month: sometimes a CBT skill, sometimes an ACT practice, sometimes a question worth sitting with.)

With grace,
The Pointe of Grace Team

The Flourishing Journal | July 2026
As we move into July, we find ourselves reflecting on something that often feels surprisingly difficult: simply showing up. Whether it is returning to a Yoga practice, making space for rest, exploring something new, or taking the next step toward a long-held goal, showing up rarely feels perfect. Yet time and again, we find that growth begins not with having everything figured out, but with bei...
The Flourishing Journal | June 2026
As we enter a new month and the beginning of summer, we’ve been reflecting on the importance of slowing down enough to reconnect with ourselves, our communities, and the practices that help us remain grounded in the midst of busy seasons. Our hope for this newsletter is simple: to offer a gentle space each month for reflection, encouragement, meaningful resources, and updates about the work we’...
