The Flourishing Journal | October 2026
As the air gets a little cooler and fall begins to settle in, October has a way of inviting us back toward one another.
This month, we're thinking about the role joy and connection play in our well-being. Healing can ask us to do difficult, deeply personal work. It can also happen alongside laughter, good food, familiar faces, and the people who make room for us at the table.
The Joy of Gathering
We talk about healing as work.
We process. We reflect. We journal. We practice boundaries, build new patterns, and have conversations we would sometimes rather avoid.
But healing can also be joyful.
Our newest blog post explores the quieter ways community shapes our well-being: someone remembering your name, a conversation that lasts longer than expected, an inside joke, a shared meal, or simply arriving somewhere tired and knowing you don't have to be particularly interesting or insightful that day.
Sometimes wellness looks surprisingly ordinary.
A room full of people. Something good to eat. A familiar laugh from across the room. A conversation we didn't expect. Someone saving us a seat.
YogaWell is Coming Back!
We've been holding onto some exciting news, and we're finally ready to share it.
YogaWell is returning January 15–16, 2027!
This time, we're gathering in Gainesville, Florida at Trinity United Methodist Church for a Friday and Saturday filled with Yoga, learning, connection, and time to simply enjoy being together.
We're putting the finishing touches on the weekend now, and registration officially opens October 11.
Want to be the first to know? Join the interest list and we'll send you a special email when registration opens with the full weekend schedule, registration options, and everything you need to start planning.
For now, save January 15–16. We can't wait to gather with you again.

A Moment to Practice: Notice Who Makes Room for You
Before you close this email, think of one person or place where you feel a little more able to exhale.
Maybe it's the friend whose house you can walk into without knocking. The coworker who always stops to ask how you're actually doing. The group where you can be quiet without anyone assuming something is wrong. The person who sends you something ridiculous because they knew it would make you laugh.
Take a moment to notice what happens in you when you picture that person or place.
Then, if someone came to mind, consider reaching out.
Send the text. Make the plan. Say thank you. Share the ridiculous picture back.
Connection is something we can practice, too.
With grace,
The Pointe of Grace Team
