Hi, I'm Lenora Rousseau, lead instructor and founder of the Pointe of Grace Yoga Institute.Â
I have integrated over a 10 years of education, experience, and research with over 10,000 hours of teaching Yoga and movement to develop Trauma-Informed, evidence-based Yoga Teaching Training Courses that help people not only grow as teachers but transform as human beings. As an E-RYT 500, Ordained Minister, Certified Spiritual Director, and MSW Intern, I've spent years blending Yoga, behavioral health coaching, and spiritual care into programs that facilitate meaningful healing and resilience.
Our training programs exists for people just like you - those looking to step into the next chapter of their vocational calling with clarity and purpose.

Explore SpouseWorks FundingWhat Trauma-Informed Means to Us
For us, it means:
-
Every sequence is built for the most dysregulated nervous system in the room
-
Every cue offers choice and accessibility
-
Every student is met where they are, whether brand new or advanced
In training, this looks like:
-
Clear instruction (no prior Yoga or science background required)
-
Scaffolded learning that builds mastery step by step
-
Private coaching opportunities and robust practicum support
We don’t assume experience. We build it.
Why Train With Pointe of Grace?
The POGYI Method: Where Science, Tradition & Trauma-Informed Practice Meet
Evidence-Based
We honor Yoga’s ancient roots while grounding your teaching in modern science.
You’ll learn:
-
How breath, movement, and interoception impact the nervous system
-
How to articulate the physiological purpose of what you’re teaching
-
How to adapt practices for clinical, ministry, nonprofit, and studio settings
Students often tell us:
“I finally understand why Yoga works — and how to explain it.”
ARC-Based Sequencing & Clear Cueing
Our ARC framework will allow you to create classes with ease and impact. You will also learn how to cue consistently and confidently.
We teach:
-
Sequencing that supports optimal stress cycle completion
-
Cueing that meets the most dysregulated person first and builds from there
-
Language that increases clarity, accessibility, and nervous system safety
